Purple Parrot in Hattiesburg. Supposed to be fine dining but their food is a joke.

Dreamland BBQ in Alabama.

It’s attached to the University of Alabama’s soul or something, but it’s really overrated when compared to other BBQ joints in the state.

Tico's steakhouse...it is an old steakhouse here that all of the locals just love. I go there from time to time because others want to go, but the steak is about as flavorless as I have ever had. nothing special at all, but it is completely overpriced for what you get.

Around Lafayette it has to be The Ground Patti. All you do is hamburgers, you would think they would try to make them taste decent.

Salt Lick BBQ?

Don't get me wrong, it's great food, but there's several other places in Texas that are as good or better that don't get the publicity.
