i have so got youall beat.

A toboggan. i had never asked for a toboggan, i didn't like cold weather very much and we only got one or two snows a year in Virginia.

We did have a hillside, and there was a creek at the bottom of it. The creek was fed by a spring close by so it seldom froze.

Maybe four uses in three years.

Was in 5th grad (im 36 now) i wanted a sega genesis and a mia dolphins starter jacket so bad. Sega and starter jacket were the 2 hottest items out. My parents didnt make much money, i woke up cmas morn to both of them under the tree. This christmas is the one i always remember. I was so excited, i think about that every year at christmas. I never really understood my parents sacrafice until i got older to really appreciate it more. As a parent myself now, i completely understand!

All I can find is his rock the Senate shirts.

Not even an image that can be screened on.

But I found this for you in the search.

And I think your aunt would like the thought.

I really wanted a black lab. Well my mom wrapped a kennel, made barking noises behind me while I unwrapped it, only to find a stuffed animal black lab in the kennel!

She was laughing so hard she started crying.

A dune buggy/ go-cart, with 3 wheeler tires on the back.

Used to tear up Park Vista and Pecan Grove on that thing.

(Kinda like that)

I got a Sizzlers Fat Track and 2 Ram Rocket Sizzlers, I still have it all but the cars don't run anymore. They don't make toys like they used to!

I remember vividly when my uncle gave my sister a ventriloquist dummy when she was about 10. She burst into tears.

A bicycle in 1972. My old bike had seen many better days due to my use and abuse of it, and though I had asked, my mom informed me that she and my dad could not afford a new bike that year.

Very close to Christmas, on the 23rd or 24th, I heard a radio ad in the car from a local bicycle shop, and I said "man, I wish I could wake up to a new bike on Christmas." My mom used that opportunity to rip me a new arse: "don't you think we'd get you one if we could? Do you think we WANT to keep things from you? etc, etc, etc." The ripping worked, and made me feel like shite.

My surprise and joy on Christmas morning, when I walked into our living room to see a new bike parked in front of the tree, I don't think, has ever been matched.
