More funny than anything but definitely memorable: My grandmother loved the Home Shopping Network and got me a red vest that had speakers right under the shoulders that you could plug your Walkman into. Might have tried it out once. Would love to have it now to give to one of my kids.

I got the Alien Xenomorph action figure and the yellow Lego Castle the same year for Christmas. blew my little freakin' mind.

I can remember the sheer joy of getting the original Nintendo in 1990 I think. I still remember the wrapped present under the tree. The shape of the box and weight was about right and I could hardly wait to open it.

The Sega Genesis was also incredible in 1993 I think. Im 35 so i bet a lot of people around my age can remember when they got their first Nintendo.
