Flew back to NYC from Miami once and sat directly it in front of Walt Frazier. This was during the NBA finals when LeBron got the cramps against the Spurs. I had said hello to him the second I noticed him at the gate, telling him that even though I was a Mavericks fan I always enjoyed hearing him call knick games (I like his voice/mannerisms for some reason).
He was cordial at the gate, but I guess since we were sitting in first class with him he felt more comfortable. We ended up talking about the finals/Lebron and the weather before I ended the conversation so as not to bother him.
After we landed at the airport I bolted for the restroom. Right behind me was Clyde and he just started cutting up/making jokes. Really made my day to meet a legend and he turn out to be a cool dude.

Stromile Swift. I was coming home from basic training. I was pumped when I saw him. Then he wouldn't get off his cell phone after the stewardess told him it was time to depart. I no longer cared to meet him. I was kinda ready to be home.

Shawn Marion on a flight from Phoenix to Chicago years ago. Eddie Vedder bought me a beer in the Portland airport at the rogue brew pub. Only time I've ever been star struck and he was really cool....we talked about Basketball and he is a big Bulls fan, said he's really good friends with Dennis Rodman.

I bet that wasn't all she did with him.

Not famous but I sat next to the BYU cheerleading team on a flight from Salt Lake to Reno about 3 weeks ago. I was surprised at the talent.

Most famous person you have flown with on an airplaine
Flew to LA once. Relayed through Salt Lake. When we left Salt Lake, Marie Osmond was sitting right next to me. She had about 3 kids with her that were a pain in the arse. Loud as hell and annoyed everyone on the damn plane. Good thing it was a short flight. She did not say one single word or even recognize the fact that anyone else was on the plane.
It was before she had gotten a lot of plastic surgery and was still natural looking

A lot better chance that it's untapped talent than most.

Sat beside James Carville at Phoenix airport three weeks ago. He then sat right behind me in the emergency row.
Also, have set right next to Armando from the Flip Houses reality show in San Antonio. He was making his way from SA to New Orleans.

Plane full of NFL players after the rookie symposium in San Diego in 2004. Sat next to Bob Sanders safety for the Colts. Very nice guy.

Carville was on two of my flights to New Orleans. Sat in coach both times.
My dad sat next to Roy Williams in 1990. I think that was a Final 4 year. I sat next to the Bengals QB coach on a flight to St. Louis. He sat in coach and when we got off the plane, Marvin Lewis was waiting for him. They were going to watch Blaine Gabbert at his pro day. Ended up drafting Andy Dalton instead
And when I was a little kid we were on the same flight as the USC team with Jacques Jones that was eliminated by LSU in a regional game.
