I was sitting in first class wait to take off from Atl to Jackson. About to push back when they hold the plane up. A few minutes later here come Haley Barbour, MS govenor, scrambling aboard. One suit sitting in front of me bolts up and says "here governor, take my seat please". Then a couple more first classers did the same. Not me. I just sipped my screw driver. Haley politely declined all offers and went and sat in the back with the have nots.

Jimmy Carter, on a flight from Heathrow to Atl. He walked through the entire cabin of a 777, with his security team, and shook every persons hand on the plane. A little English boy in front of me asked him, "are you Bill Clinton?".

On a flight from Baltimore back to Atlanta and this big black dude started loading his overhead baggage into the compartment. I looked at him and had that "I know him" feeling. after about 10-15 minutes of me trying to not be weird as hell by staring at the guy, I realize that it's Ron Simmons. I didn't get all giggily and all that, but I introduced myself and when he said his name, I looked him in the eyes and without blinking I said "DAMN!". He laughed, I laughed, and we made small talk about wrestling, etc. Really cool and laid back guy. I never asked for his autograph because I feel that if that's the first thing you do, they won't give you the time of day. Thy are peope too and I am sure they enjoy having casual conversations just as much as the next person.

Cassius Clay and Mac Rebennack. Got Ali's autograph in the airport before the flight, his hands we're shaking big time but when he was done he looked up and shook his fist at me joking like he was going to punch me. Later I looked at the autograph and he had written it on a pamphlet about converting to Islam. Dr. John was on the plane in first class and I said "Hey Mac hows it going?" he looks up at me and no lie says "Where y'at cap?".

Sat next to Rob Ninkovich from the Patriots on a flight from Pittsburgh to NOLA. He was flying in to see his fiancee who is from NOLA. We shot the shite and got drunk. Real cool guy.

Rasheed Wallace from atl to New York. He was already sitting when I entered the plane and he was in the window seat. I asked him if he wanted my isle seat and he jumped at it haha. Said he normally gets isle bc of his length but the airline screwed up. He was one of the nicest and courteous pple I've met on a plane. We pretty much just talked about his kids the entire flight and his time playing for Detroit. You never get an appreciation on how big these guys are until you're right next to them

Jimmy Graham back in October. Flying from Miami to New Orleans. Didn't recognize him at first as we walked through first class. He had his arm in a sling, slumped down in his seat, sunglasses and a hat on. As I walked past, I thought "that guy looks like Jimmy Graham". It wasn't until he stood up and his head was scraping the ceiling did it register. As we filed out of the plane and into the terminal, he had people waiting for him and others asking for autographs, taking pictures. Pretty cool
