We didn't shake hands, but I have a picture with Kathy Ireland on the set of an old movie called Necessary Roughness where I was an extra. Shook hands with Sinbad, who is one of the nicest dudes ever.

Makes two of us.

Actually had an extended one on one conversation with him. I’m not catholic, but JPII seemed like a decent guy. We were guests of the Swiss guard. Served with some of them overseas. They arranged the meeting.

Shook hands with four different presidents and the answer is still Nolan Ryan.

Similar experience. Met the Clintons when I was in HS. You could feel the hate they had for each other and total lack of sincerity of either.

Met Nolan once in the rangers front office trying to get a refund for my tickets. He asked if he could help me, walked me back to the refund lady and showed real hospitality without an ounce of ego.
