One fell into a wood chipper at a mill.
Another fell into a tanker car of sulfuric acid. Head first. shite happens when you don't follow safety protocols and take short cuts.
Another accidently ignited a rocket engine in a closed area. He was behind the business end. Crispy critter does not describe. It wasn't immediate.

Would have to be. He lived for about 15-20 minutes. And those burns are fricking painful. And it eats your shite away fast. Glad I didn't have to handle it. We see a lot of bad shite around here with all the chemical plants, defense contractors, and sawmills. Not to mention stupid redneck shite.

Uncle was going to the bathroom, turned on the heater, and sat down on the toilet, and had a stroke, fell off and hit the floor. A week in a confined space with a heater directly blowing on his corpse. When the paramedics got to him and tried to move him, his arms came detached from his body. It was a closed casket.

My second cousin was a farmer in NE la. He was driving a tractor and hit a ditch bank. The tractor rolled over and tossed him. He died when the tractor fell on him and crushed his chest. Doctors were unsure if he died of internal bleeding or lack of oxygen. Either way it had to suck really bad.

Very close friend died of lung cancer when we were around 21. We knew she had been sick and it was slowly getting worse. She was undergoing treatment and was staying at her parents house in BR. They had a weird house layout to where the parents master bedroom was upstairs and her bedroom was downstairs. After a normal night they all went to sleep and her mom found her at the bottom of the stairs the next morning. Her lungs had become flooded with blood and she died trying to make it to her parents room. Her mom (who I was also close to) explaining how she found her was one of the hardest things I've ever had to hear.

My pastor's mom came for Pastor Appreciation Sunday a few year's back. Most of her family was there. After church everyone was walking across the street to our gym/fellowship hall. She stepped out into the road and got hit by a car. Hearing the wails of her family has always really disturbed me.

Circa 2006 Ramadi Iraq, Anbar Province. I was with the 2nd ID on my first tour. We were on a route clearance Op when elements of the 1st CAV needed back up during a house clearance. My unit surrounded the house and waited 6 hours before we were ordered to enter the building after it was cleared. My fire team went in and the first thing I saw was the body of some religious Iraqi dude that has his throat slashed to his spinal cord and both eye sockets were stabbed into a bloody mutilated mess. The mujihadeen had killed this poor dude in the worst way possible. Worst thing I've ever seen.

kid I knew from school. wasn't necessarily a friend but we hung out a few times our freshman and sophomore years but we ultimately hung out in different circles. he was a really good dude. he died driving back to school after thanksgiving last year. car crash involving an 18 wheeler. he was only 20. makes you think how fricked up shite can be

Kid from my elementary school that was a few years younger was playing baseball with some friends and took a line drive to the chest. Caught him in between beats or at the perfect time or something and just stopped his heart.
