In 10th grade, friend and classmate of mine was ran over on a sidewalk by a guy at around 4:00 on a Thursday afternoon. The guy was shitfaced, but the mother fricker got away with it. His uncle was the county sheriff, but somehow his breathalyzer results as well as all other evidence was destroyed. Never trusted pigs since then and despised most of them.

Between grandparents and grandparents-in-law, i've been through it about 7 times. I know what it is, and I don't want it. It really does disturb me and keep me up at night. I am WAY more scared of old age than death. I don't want to die but I hope I die before I get old.

While in college a friends dad died in a freak accident during the Christmas season. He was bringing decorations down from the attic and tripped on the stairs. He was trying to walk down the attic stairs forward and tripped. The pencil in his pocket hit just the right (or wrong) way and was driven into his chest, pierced his aorta and he bled out.

Fricking horrific and ironic, since they were Jewish and also celebrated the holiday season.

19 year old girl was in a car accident and her legs were pinned under the steering column. She called her parents ,who lived down the street, told them she was in a minor accident but she was okay. The parents drove to the scene and arrived just as the car caught fire. They could not get her out before she burned up.

There were two 16 yr old girls from my hometown who got in a wreck around 1 or 2 in the morning while they were supposed to be at one of their houses. The car caught on fire and the passenger died while the driver sustained 3rd degree burns over most of the left side of her body. The first responder in charge of the scene was the father of the girl who was driving the car. He didn't know it was his daughter until he got there and had thought the girls were back at his house. fricked up situation.

About 4 years after the fact Mazda awarded a settlement of $6 million dollars to girl who was driving (20 yr old AU student at the time given that much money) and $4 million to the parents of the girl who died.

While working in an ER as an RN ambulance brought in a very dead six week old baby. Obese mother rolled over on him while napping on the couch. Baby had been dead for over an hour and we still had to do CPR for 45 minutes. Baby was in RM (rigor mortis) and stiff as a board. Really sad.

Could tell lots of sad stories like that.??

Had 2 friends back in 2011 commit suicide. One drove his car in front of a train, the other shot himself in his truck. From what I heard he had gotten into some shady business and owed some dudes a lot of money. They threatened to kill his relatives unless he paid up or killed himself.

Didn't know the guy but a tree fell during a storm so highway department cut the tree to remove top portion off of road leaving a stump left facing the road. Guy fell asleep at wheel hit the stump head on. Impact separated his head from his body. Head landed on the road from the impact.

While taking a bath, she had an epileptic seizure and drowned.

Were her initials "B.H.?"

My niece died the same way . She was 4 years old . Her initials were BH .

I was the last person to talk to my good friend. I knew it was coming. He said, "Don't try to talk me out of it, I love you". Hung up the phone and turned it off.

Damn bro, sorry. I had someone close to me call me 2 days before they did it and they were drunk so I got annoyed and ended up hanging up on them. They weren't indicating they were going to do it but they were just rambling and drunk which annoyed me and I hung up, even though they wanted to hang out. I always wonder if I had hung out if they would have told me what was going on but I will never know since I hung up and left it like that. It sucks because what they were going through was temporary.

I don't know about disturbing or gory, but my sister was killed by a drunk driver and we had to have a closed casket. My dad also had Vibro vulnificus. He didn't die from that, but he had a leg cut off. Ended up dying of complications from pneumonia

I knew a guy who was really concerned about his body image and he would always accessorize to make his body look more appealing to potential tops. Well one day he wore his bicep bands too tight during an arm workout and he popped an artery and bled out after he tried to curl with the 25 pound dumbbells.
