A guy was harvesting corn when the combine header choked up. So he dismounts the combine but fails to disengage the header. As he was trying to pull the tie vines or whatever was the obstruction out, he gets pulled into the header. They only found pieces of his work boots behind the combine. His body had basically been vaporized by the time it went thru the corn head, feeder house, and separator. There literally wasn't anything left of him.

About 20 yrs ago in a small town where my cousin lives, a guy somehow smuggled a shotgun into the police dept in an attempt to bust a friend of his out of jail. It was late at night and the only cop there was the dispatcher. The guy could have forced him at gunpoint to release his buddy, then lock the officer in a cell but he elected to shoot him at point blank range with a 12 gauge shotgun.

Also knew a guy who was driving around fricked up at a high rate of speed when he failed to negotiate a curve and instead run up into someone's yard. In this yard sat a trailer loaded with farm equipment. Dude hit the trailer at warp speed. A bag was needed to collect body parts. Saddest part of the whole deal was this guy's wife had died very young and he was raising their two young children by himself. So they basically became orphans because of his stupid decision.

Dad had a buddy get decapitated, they were running a crop duster and he got too close to the prop and it was instant death.

Riding buddy of mine got hit by a car that pulled out in front of him on his motorcycle, it wasn't instant and he survived until later that night. He had just long enough to tell us and a few family members goodbye. That one hurt the most because we had to watch the shear amount of pain he was in for hours.

I knew someone who was hunting by himself in the middle of nowhere Mississippi. While dressing a deer, he accidentally cut a major artery in his arm. His son found him in the woods the next day laying in a puddle of his own blood. Really sad, but at least he died doing something that he enjoyed.

Wasn't there a former LSU football working in his front yard and got hit and killed by an out of control 18 wheeler from the nearby highway? Not too many years ago, in south Louisiana.

Can someone remind me of the name, he was a pro player, I believe.

Didn't know him, but my great great uncle was lynched sometime in the 30s. Never found his body.

One of the greatest players to ever play the game...

I didn't play at LSU but rather a different division 1 place with no coaches from La or having LSU connections.... My position coach made us watch HOURS of Andolsek in action.

I haven't read the thread, but this is terrible.

Yes, it was awful but he got hurt by wrapping himself around a telephone pole while drunk when he was a teenager in the 80's. It hurt us all deeply but he clearly placed more blame on the doctor than on himself...

On 26 reds and a bottle of wine

This lady worked at an Ltac in Central La. When she got off her husband was waiting and ambushed her at her car . She was stabbed so many times we couldn't really make out the numbers . When EMS got her to us they were still doing CPR and fluids were coming out ever hole in her body.He even carved her flesh off spots on her arms . This was the worst murder I've ever seen . How can someone be this angry .

I know of two that are frightening just remember them. One jumped off the GNO Bridge and the other was a pilot in a single engine private plane that got caught in a thunderstorm outside Jackson Ms and went down.

RIP DR and JB

many years ago at New Orleans Int airport, a small private plane landed and parked on the general aviation ramp. Women gets out and proceeds to walk directly into the spinning prop of a plane parked next to hers.

Jesus, some of these are real fricked up, so this won't compare, but my cousin overdosed on drugs in my grandmothers house. Guy was in and out of trouble, had a 3 kids, 1 whom he never met, and my grandma was trying to help him out. She went to wake him up for work one day and found him dead. I always wanted to know what was going through my grandmas mind when she saw that.
