Contrary to what you think, I think the 1967 GT500 is a fine car. I think the Eleanor iteration is overrated.

I would take a stock 67 GT500 over an Eleanor GT500 10 times out of 10.

Ok, that makes more sense. Most of the time I hear people talk trash about the GT500 in general only have exposure to it as "Eleanor". They only hate on it due to it's popularity and nothing else.

I don't dislike the "Eleanor" iteration from the movie. But if I had my choice, I'd take stock all day.

Yea I don’t hate it, I would prefer the original. Clearly I don’t have any hate for famous movie/tv cars.

ETA Assuming you aren’t on TDmobile.

IMO The hate on the movie car is warranted for the body kit, just overdone.

My father had an original '67 GT500 convertible, I'd take that any day over the movie car and I'm not a Ford/Mustang guy.

If you’re going to post a Nova you need to post a Chevy II. Those are the best!

Designed and built in England, this is about American car styling.

Based on a design by a guy from Lola. Who also aided in the design of the GT40. The chassis and suspension were largely Ford engineers. Of course, the engine and tranny were Ford.

Built in the UK, yes.

I think it is still considered by most to be American.

'65 or 66 Mustang is obvious answer, but when I was like 8 or 9, the Ferrari Testerossa was the shite, bruh...
