They could still sue , potentially get an injunction and drag it out costing money they may not want to or have to spend. Trademark laws can be tricky and expensive

I get the hate for the "Zydeco" name but why would folks want to bring back the name of a team that was under .500 and only won one playoff series in its 7 year existence? Bacause you have an old shirt you wanna wear again?
