Women are never to be held accountable for their actions. Only men.
That's the way our society currently works.
Everything else flows from that first statement.

Months later, when Jane Doe made a statement before one of Cornell's internal investigative hearings, she explicitly called out what she described as “the coverups these boys attempted.”
Investigators looked into at least one instance when Ingalls appeared to ask one witness to “submit new evidence” that could exonerate him.
“You could submit new evidence that could get me and [Name Omitted] dismissed immediately. Even if [Jane Doe] found out it doesn’t matter, if the evidence is convincing enough to let us go then it’s proof she lied.”
“I don’t have evidence,” the woman – a friend of Jane Doe – said over Snapchat.
The friend shared the message with Jane Doe, who reported it to the university. The witness later told campus investigators that Ingalls sent her other messages to convince her to believe his account.
“From the beginning, after it happened and [Jane Doe] started telling me that it was not consensual from the beginning,” she said. “He wants to convince me that she is lying and he tried to convince me in other messages like this one that she was lying and he said that, ‘You know that she's lying And you know that we would never do this.’”

Norris and Kretzschmar both separately told investigators as the text string continued, they became more concerned and went to the room to make sure LC was alright. They both claimed she was coherent, and said she was fine. They say they hung out a few minutes to satisfy themselves everything was actually okay. Then they left. Her account is they seemed "like voyeurs."
FWIW, Sarabia (the assault-kisser) claims she allayed his concerns as well, "I remember the girl in specific saying something along the lines of, 'This was normal in the medieval times.'"
In the aftermath, Ingalls says he was trying to contact her and her roommate to make sure she was doing fine. Lucy Craig and her roommate viewed that as trying to cover up what happened.
Ingalls had no idea she was the one who had filed the police complaint against the Frat. So he continued his conversations with her. Meanwhile, Craig started recording those conversations, and tried to lead him into implicating the participants in rape.

Cornell's endowment is $11.8 billion. They've got 161 years experience running a university. All of the faculty and staff are politically aligned.
Cornell handpicked the students that are at Cornell.
They've got total control, but they still can't get it done.

I think they acted in good faith and in the interests of justice according to the letter of the applicable rules.
The protests are unfair. Somebody please prove that wrong.

Doe’s complaint alleged that several of the seven “were afforded the opportunity to mitigate their conduct by submitting essays”
Cornell called them "reflection papers."
Once Doe's Manhattan plaintiff's firm get's their hands on these essays, its gonna be the most expensive assignment ever issued by Cornell in it's 161 year history.
When these reflection essays come in, Doe's firm might even do a half day and all go out for tasty margs.

That's all this entire thing is about. Getting paid. The truth of what happened is irrelevant.

Well, of those 5 who even touched the girl, the four "rapists" are White-Asian, White-Latino, White-Black, and White-ME/Muslim, and the assault-kisser is White-Latino. So .... ?
