If it was a Destroya fundraiser it would be okay.

Put out a tip jar with a sign, LaToya tax debt fund donations. She would turn her head then.....and just pocket any money donated to the cause.

Same thing I thought, only there would be a fight in the background.

I played on the real Monkey Hill as a kid. Highest ground in New Orleans at the time I think.

Of course people have to post pictures on social media. They can’t just enjoy the evening.

How did the people who supposedly called the city even know what was going on inside (lack of masks/social distancing) without being in there?

Have you ever been to r/NewOrleans on Reddit? They absolutely LOVE to snitch on people like the little commissars that they are

I got permabanned there for merely suggesting that cancelling Mardi Gras was bad for the local economy.

I can only imagine the amount of soy boys and hairy feminist wildebeests who post on that sub.

Meanwhile, Carmouche’s Rock Bottom Bar on Tchoup has been hosting block parties for the past couple weekends with hundreds of people flooding into the street producing a weed cloud that can be smelled from several blocks away, but you will hear nothing of this.

Those people are the absolute worst. I wonder if they ever stop to think about how much of a buzzkill they are?

This is these people's way of saying "I'm grown and don't need the nanny state deciding what I can do." If Destroya doesn't understand that her bully tactics are not wanted, or needed, is violence next? Is she going to have people walking by, punching her in her fat face, storming her office, or clearing the shooting lanes? What is next?

Bar management said in a statement that the event was only supposed to host 40 guests for a private party per "city guidelines of 25% capacity," but the crowd size quickly exceeded that number inside the Uptown business“

Assuming that picture is the vast majority of the bar, there probably weren’t more than 60 people there. There are 50ish or so in that picture, so the idea that 40 would have provided some sort of magical covid barrier is asinine.
