Nothing like waking on Sunday not dreading for the day to end. Basically like Saturday all over again.

Hope you baws enjoy your day

I agree, but I think most have the opposite opinion (although right now at least, the upvote/downvote is in your favor). For me, even if I have work on a Friday, I still am in a pretty good mood on Thursday night anyway and Friday at work has pretty good vibes. And when Monday is off, I enjoy my full/whole Sunday a lot more.

I always take Monday when I need to burn a day. You get more bang for your vacation buck as Monday's are usually way more busy than Fridays at my office.

Fridays after lunch are usually really quiet for us. It's not uncommon just to leave an hour early.

Brother works 4 10 hour days, is off every Monday.

When the holidays fall on a Monday he gets Tuesday off. He says he loves going to work on Friday knowing he doesnt have to come back until Wednesday.

Same, except our off day rotates to factor in weekends. So once a month I have a 3 day weekend.

If I had a choice, would opt for Tuesday-Friday every week

I had a Tuesday-Friday for about 4 years. It was nice. Can get a lot of stuff done around town on Mondays.

That's the other great thing is that everything is less crowded on Mondays too.

The boomers didn't build America by taking three day weekends that's for damn sure.

50%+ of restaurants around here don't even open on Mondays.

Everyone hates mondays and even if working love fridays

It makes sense that Monday is a better day off because fridays aren’t too bad to begin with, even when working

Well, if you have Friday off then you can enjoy Friday/Saturday and then go to church on Sunday followed by rest and relaxation on the sabbath and be ready for work on Monday. Doesn’t work for Mondays off.

Agree mostly, except that many restaurants are closed Mondays
If I take a weekday off I'd like a nice lunch and options are limited

I'm the opposite. I'd much rather take a Friday off. By the end of week, most business has already been handled. When I take a Monday off, I feel disoriented and like I'm playing catchup. Like when you get to work late and the world has been going on without you.
