I’m 24. Mom is 52. Her friend is the same age but definitely checks out as a cougar. Brunette, pretty eyes, in shape, has her shite together.

So the other day I was at my parents house to watch the LSU game. My father was grilling and wanted to spend some time with me and let me help cook, so I accepted the invitation. We aren’t very close so I viewed it as a good time to watch some football and catch up with Dad.

Well unbeknownst to me she invited one of her friends over. As I later found out, the invitation was for her to “come have a glass of wine.” She shows up in athletic gear. Leggings, lululemon top which I thought was weird. Well, as we all know, middle aged women drinking wine can turn into other things. I join in on the fun, having a vodka or two.

This is where things turn a little weird, or maybe good for me. I’m dtf and she’s hot, so I don’t think it’s that big a deal. Maybe the age gap would freak out some people.

Mom’s friend starts making eye contact with me often, makes unnecessary contact with me (i.e.brushing my shoulder when I say something that isn’t even funny or witty), asks about what I did today, etc. We were alone together at one point because my parents were in the backyard together, and maybe it was just me but I could feel the sexual tension. She made it seem like she really wanted to know me, which I thought was odd. She seems really interested in my life and, honestly, it kind of made me feel good.

I’ve thought it over and don’t really know what to do. Of course, as a mid 20’s male Im horny and always looking for my next move. I suspect she wants me but you hardly ever know with these things.

My questions to y’all is, should I pursue? Yes, her and my mother are close and talk often, but I really don’t think it’d be that hard to keep it on the down low. She is single and has her own home where we could hang out together, alone. I realize it might wreck their relationship if the secret got out but imo the risk is worth the reward. What would yall do in my situation?
