Just another piece in a long line of evidence that women are crazy, entitled and unaccountable.

You can tell she is used to being treated special. She is accustomed to her status as a mother giving her privledge and people listening to her orders/demands. Should have taken her kids and not let the husband pick them up.

Wait, by signing the ticket you admit to guilt in that jurisdiction?

How do you fight a ticket in that jurisdiction?

Or was that cop just lying? Because I've had a cop lie to me about that before (he told me if I didn't pay the ticket before the court date I'd be arrested).

A little over reaction on the cops part, he could have just laughed and walked away since her kids were in the car.

BTW she could get it

Wasn’t it also a little over reaction on her part? Could she have not just signed the ticket and drove away since HER kids were in the car?

Since she didn’t care about her kids much in the moment, it’s a good thing he did.

I don't hate cops at all.

THAT cop can get fricked though. Serious emotional issues.

The cop was an a-hole. She threw a pen out of the window and he pulls her out and cuffs her. He should have just walked away after giving her the ticket. It seems that he was the one having the worst day.

Then again, I cooperate with a cop when I'm pulled over for my own safety. I don't respect cops, but I do fear them.

Just give her the damn ticket and move on. Why did he keep bugging her. Not a felony, cop sucks.

Definitely a feature, not a glitch.

"I'm not going to play your stupid game"

When he really could have just handed it to her. And then immediately followed up with:

"In a minute I'm going to be taking you to jail for obstructing and those kids will be going to CYFD"

Cop went straight for a threat instead of a warning. Mom is in the wrong but the cop has a fragile ego. She has several kids in the car, maybe being short tempered and threatening isn't the best lead approach in that situation.

His ego was hurt when she initially rolled up the window and then he escalated upon returning. There was no "if you don't cooperate blah blah blah" he just immediately came back and said "in a minute i'll frick with your family"

Not defending the woman but none of that helped the situation. The cop antoganozied more than he tried to de escalate. People getting upset after they receive a ticket is normal behavior.

I don't think the threat to take her to jail for obstruction and take the kids was warranted from her initial reaction.

If he was less threatening or a little more patient and she still threw the pen then I wouldn't have typed this.

I’m so happy my wife is sane. We have a road in town that is a straight shot, 1.5 miles long and a speed limit of 25. It is really easy to creep into the 40s. She was pulled over last week for 44 in a 25. Came home w a seat belt warning.

She apologized. She acknowledged her fault and did as instructed. Life ain’t hard folks.

I’ve never been pulled over when I was innocent. No one to get upset with except myself

She had a duty to protect her kids from bullshite. She used them as props

Ok that's besides the point? People get tickets and they get aggravated or don't necessarily want to be best friends with a cop. Cops are trained for that and its quite normal. The woman got a ticket and was upset. That is in the normal realm of emotions. The cop immediately escalating and threatening with kids in the car is not in that realm. You can tell this by how quickly he jumped at the opportunity to rip her out of the car in front of her kids without trying to just get out there and move on.

Could've just cited her for disorderly conduct and let her go her way instead of charging her with a felony. Has to stay in jail til initial appearance.

if my kids asked me “is it good idea to throw something at a cop”. I would reply no.

You are in charge of your emotions and actions. Everyone knows cops can run hot. Smile, swallow your pride, take your ticket. It’s a hundred bucks. Kids can sing in the back as you laugh it off.

no. It is the entire point. She was speeding, cops write speeding tickets. Getting mad at one for doing what is expected is lunacy.
