A fascinating book on the studies done on alcohol and its overblown effects.

What about when you go on a 39 hour beer and coke bender with no sleep or food in that time frame? Does that make the heart strong? Asking for a friend...,

What about moderate cocaine use?

ETA: I’m asking for the same friend as delta.

Do I have to average that per day? Cause Mon-thurs I average 6-8 a day and the weekends more like 20-24

And how do fifths of whiskey compute in this...I only drink about 2-3 12 packs a week, but I also consume about 1-3 fifths a week.

I'm not surprised. I have several older relatives that should be dead from a lifetime of drinking. Instead, they've been preserved, pickled if you will.

is 4-7 beers daily moderate?
No.

I'd say 6-12 beers, or 2 bottles of red wine, or about half a bottle of bourbon would be moderate.

Drinking 2 beers or glasses of wine per day is really nothing.

The sixth decile consumes .63 drinks per week. That's a little over half a drink, or 32 drinks a year. So, 60 percent of Americans aged 18 and over consumer half a drink or less a week.
I'm not sure this is an accurate extrapolation. It's usually is about one's typical consumption, but even a few times throughout the year with heavier drinking could skew that quickly, yet wouldn't get considered under typical circumstances.

For example, if a person has a drink every week or every other week on average, then they would probably report it as such (say 40 per year on average). But if there are occasions every other month or so occathroughout year, (wedding, parties, holidays, work happy hours, etc) and one occasion where they go all out (all weekend bachelor party), I doubt they say:

"Well I drank 40 during my typical day to day stuff, I drank 30 at those 6 parties, and had 30 at the bachelor party, so I actually drank 100 total which is almost two per week."
