My son wants to get this. Says it’s at planet fitness and his friends are using it to build mass. Says it’s great blah blah blah.

Google tells me otherwise. Not approved for human consumption, illegally sold under “dietary supplement”
Known to contribute to long term Type II diabetes risk.
Tumor growth, etc.

Just wanted to get the board’s opinion on it.

How old is your son? There are a lotta side effects I would not suggest getting medical information from this board unless there’s an actual endocrinologist on here. Go do your own research and consult with a professional

Why can't he just eat some meat and lift instead of looking for short cuts? And when did roid heads start going to Planet Fitness? Is he trying to gain mass on a treadmill?

You should have posted this in the health & fitness board, hopefully it gets moved, you'll get better answers there. But...

1) Tell him frick NO!!!!
2)If he's working out at Planet Fitness "with his friends" then he has other things to work first on if he really wants to improve athletically. Trying to add something like MK677 into the mix is just going to be a waste of money.
3)Again, the answer is ABSOLUTELY NOT!

He's got levels of the best mass builder known to man coursing through his veins at a level a 29 year old would be jealous of (testosterone.)

Two things teenagers do that screw up muscle growth: 1) They spend more time fricking around on their phones and with their buddies than pushing iron 2)They eat a lot, but most of it isn't protein. Oh, and the third thing is changing programs too frequently. "I did X for two weeks and didn't get GAINZ, I need a different program!"

I wouldn't let a kid still growing get on SARMs

He’s 17. And trust me, I did things the right way with this. Long term development and patience. Proper eating. I more posted this to show him that dad knows wtf he’s talking about

If you’re pro-tumor growth it sounds good.

The only things building "mass" at PF are its Tootsie Roll jar and its pizza nights.

Just eat right and lift. You cannot defeat genetics, good or bad.

All these kids looking for a cheat code or short cut in the gym are going to be sadly disappointed. Tik tok has every teenager thinking they are going become the next Jay Cutler from influencers hustling them to try peptides and performance enhancing supplements.

Becoming jacked is a lifestyle that takes years of consistency, effort, dieting, and discipline.

The short answer to your question is an obvious no, due large in part to his age, based on a presumption that he is a teen.

Listen to this advice OP. He's already on natural roids. All he needs to do is eat big & lift consistently.

When he's 21 & has 4+ years of lifting under his belt, maybe he can try it then. It'll probably be dumb then too, but at least he'll know he reached his natural max first.

Many people, myself included, have used "peptides" "not approved for human consumption" to make our dicks rock hard... just sayin'.

shite that thread had to be like 8-10 years ago...

Almost all dietary supplements and vitamins aren’t FDA approved, virtually everything claimed it does is unproven
