Day by day I see the City of Tchula Mississippi trying to become a better place. The people who live here want to feel safe and be able to sit on their porch or in their yards without worry as they did in years past.

That happens all over the middle third of Mississippi. Haven't seen it in any other state I've spent time in. I'm also talking about outside of towns

I live in Greenwood and drive through Tchula at least twice a day... Easily one of the worst towns in the Delta. The citizens have their own pedestrian lane on the stretch of highway that runs through town.
Can't blame the guy for wanting to clean up town though, even if his tactics are hilarious.

Tchula had like 3 elevators and 4 or 5 gins.
At one time it was a good little farming community, but like every other delta town, mechanization came in and a good labor force got old and died or moved away.

I always think it's funny when drug dealers get all the blame. Stop forcing these drugs on our kids! Drug dealers don't have to do a lot of work. People seek them out...they are drugs...they are awesome.
