This was my idea, pay people 50k to renounce their citizenship. Travel to an embassy in a country US citizens are free to travel, go to the local embassy, sign the 1 page renunciation form and get a 50k parting gift.

quote:

Section 349(a)(5) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) (8 U.S.C. 1481(a)(5)) is the section of law governing the right of a United States citizen to renounce abroad his or her U.S. citizenship. That section of law provides for the loss of nationality by voluntarily and with the intention of relinquishing nationality.

Finally, those contemplating a renunciation of U.S. citizenship should understand that the act is irrevocable, except as provided in section 351 of the INA (8 U.S.C. 1483), and cannot be canceled or set aside absent a successful administrative review or judicial appeal.

The Romans paid tribute to the barbarians in the waning years of the republic, unable or unwilling to do the bloody work of their ancestors.

They paid tribute right up until they smashed through the gates and sacked they city, looting and raping and burning.

I'd rather see him use the money to purchase additional ARs for his police and make them another offer that they can't refuse.
