It’s not “quite common” that people can pick up on regional accents from places they’ve never been
They may say “of you have a southern accent,” but it’s absolute bullshite that they say to him “oh you must be from northern Alabama” and you know it. You’re just a pussy and want to be offended because I said it

Yes, I’m jealous of Roger and TigerHuskers of tigerdroppings. Both of which have been divorced, been to rehab, and generally can’t operate in organized society.
One day lil’ Mingo strives to be just like that

Youre like 30 or less. You have to attract a woman before you get divorced. Thats a tall order for a flaming metro like yourself.

Popped up in my feed also and it popped up a couple of years ago.
5:48 or so mark....
"Where I used to have 85 families on the place I now have 15 boys...."
He is talking about his hired hands and everyone of them in the video are well in their 30s but they are boys. His words, not mine. frick that racist bastard. If he wasn't a welfare queen of the highest order, living on government subsidies, he would probably be a criminal of some sort because he certainly never earned a living without a government handout...he was a cotton farmer. None of them ever earned a living without a check from taxpayer, not since 1930 anyway.

Yeah, especially the one where the guy said "my mom & dad worked hard all day & I dont want that for me and my kids"
He was referring to working in the cotton fields from 6:00am to sundown. He was not disparaging hard work. He was describing how hard they worked. I take his comments as meaning he wants a better life for him and his kids by not working on the cotton fields.

Great Book. The slaves and cotton farmers needed each other. Greenville Mississippi was a model city. Black banks and businessmen along with white banks and businesses all side by side. KKK came from Alabama and caused split between races.

I always have th exact opposite experience when I’m up north. I never bring it up, but it’s quite common whomever I’m speaking with will say something like “I’ll bet you’re from Alabama or Mississippi.”
There was a museum employee in Washington DC that guessed where I lived within a hundred miles based on just my accent. It was impressive.

I was at Randolph Air Force base last week for a ceremony, a couple of hundred miles away from my computer. A friend of mine and I were talking about Roth IRAs and ever since I've been back home I'm getting bombarded(on my computer,) with ads about Roth IRAs.
It be listening to everything.

I sensed no meaningful animosity. Just folks trying to figure out what's going on and where they're going in it. Really figuring it out together.

He has 83 families living on his farm and fathered 72 children.

Very powerful vidya. Thanks for sharing.

What that farmer is talking about had to have happened everywhere at about the same time. Tenant farming pretty much halting, and the people who lived and worked on the land being put out with no marketable skills and no savings.
Where do you go when you have no roof over your head and no money? Uncle Sam saves the day. Welfare state.

Also popped up on my Youtube for the first time this morning. Why would this happen?

How old are you or where in the frick are you from originally?
My grandfather was born in 1894. He passed when I was 10 yo. Every male in his generation called every male under 40 "boy".
The dividing line in my family was 1925. Male relatives born before were all in. The last time I was called "boy" was when I was 35 by an 80 yo second cousin born in 1923.
F off with your nonsense.
