This is unbelievably awful. When someone posted the picture of the two little girls, it took my breathe away. What evil would murder one of those girls?
I have a friend who hates the death penalty. He says "could you go up and shoot someone between the eyes without losing sleep for the rest of you life?"
With the murderer of that little girl, I could and I would sleep like a baby. I suspect a lot of OT'ers could do the same.

Was in area of Folsom today. From Independence you take a left at Hilltop and it goes around directly to trailer. Small two lane road with trailers and some houses. Middle of nowhereville.
Every department was there. Even bloodhounds from the prison. Helicopters were in the area down the road. Looks like they were setting up lights to work through the night processing scene

Same same.. well, im not really religious, but I don’t like playing god with other people’s lives, if that makes any sense .. feels almost like im sinking to their level .. Almost.. but like you said, if we’re ever gonna have a death penalty, cases like this are where you seek it .

If you’re Christian then you wouldn’t be Christian if it weren’t for the death penalty

The car they found him in was HER CAR, the woman who was murdered's car.
So how did he get to her trailer?

Any word on the piece of shite's background? I know a Daniel Callahan whose dad was sketchy. He'd probably be this guy's age now.
A couple of my former students have posted on Facebook that they went to elementary school with him. One said she remembers watching an Unsolved Mystery or some other show about his father. I think that this has to be the same guy.

One even says something about being home avoiding people.
The money stuff is interesting because it's not really consistent with the rest of her posts, at least dating back to Mardi Gras.
Started off as an argument over money and then blew up into this?

Idk man, but that is a weird thing to be stuck on. Got a ride? Walked? Rode a bike? Ditched a shittier car/truck around the corner?

From what I read it said he’s been in jail since March for taking over the legal limit of deer. It doesn’t make him smart, but I don’t think it’s something that calls you to question her self preservation.

Not that I believe the outcome might have been different, this part confuses me. If the parents reported her missing Wednesday morning, what went on between then and Thursday morning? If Dad had a key, why not go to her home Wednesday morning? Maybe Wednesday is an error.

The charges I saw when I looked the husband up this morning was forgery. I'll see if I can find it.

No just god would ever let something like this happen.. im sorry, but ‘HE works in mysterious ways’ just don’t cut it for me when it comes to the murder of this beautiful little girl.. but by all means, go thru all the typical mental gymnastics to explain it, or make sense of it, or whatever .

My good friend’s husband died of a heart attack at a young age. She didn’t date until a couple of years later. Met a guy. He seemed a bit on the rough side but otherwise okay.
He had a car but one day he was walking on the side of the road. A police officer stopped and asked him if he needed a ride. He said yes and gave him a location.
After the officer dropped him off, he walked into a trailer park and broke into a guy’s trailer and murdered him. Murdered someone else too I think but I can’t remember.
Opportunity is everywhere when you want something bad enough.

I'm hung up on how he got there because:
if he had this planned, he knew not to leave his vehicle close by, so some body helped him get there. Accessory before the fact.
When the Law said earlier armed and dangerous, that implies guns or knives, which (if the former) he may have carried with him.
It all went down too smooth to be a fuss gone wrong.
OTOH, why was he trying doorknobs of different houses on that street up in Jackson? (Did all the houses look alike?)
