Mr. Squirrel ain't here no mo'. Didn't find out he passed away until about 2 years ago. He had gotten remarried not too many years before he died. Jeanne was a trip. She would come out with us to see The Cold and other bands when we were seniors/college freshmen.

I would be investing anybody on that island that also liked that girl, or who had recently dated her, and happened to be on that island with her when he stayed behind to talk to her, that would be my guess.

From a NOLA.com article which I will not link. The article is titled: Why Nolan Well's death is a bigger conversation for Black families across America and supposed to be about the realities of minorities having white friends.
It would be interesting to see statistical evidence supporting those fears.

Just the rate of white on black violent crime vs black on white is staggering.
From 2017 to 2021, there were 370,000 white on black.
During the same time period, there was 2,300,000 black on white.

Author is a racist who wants a legitimate excuse for not associating with Black people.

Panic gets most people - they go under and breathe in and try to scream. Fighting current or tides is not possible - you lose.
One breath of h2o and it’s ball game. Training to exhale when getting dunked then trying to surface is a lifesaver.

The amount of gross racism ive seen on social media by black people is insane. A lot of "white people are demons, cave people, Neanderthals, pedophiles, mass killers, etc" Plenty of "white people are a genetically inferior race, and were a mistake by God." Loads of "everything that is wrong with the world is because of ypipo". This isnt just a few one-off comments, this is apparently the sentiment of thousands of black folks online.
And all of these comments were spurred by what is likely a tragic drowning accident of a black kid who simply was with his white friends earlier that day.
