And people wonder why this problem never seems to go away.

The calls for transparency that are made now are crazy and exhausting. He’s been dead what? A week. How long does an autopsy take with toxicology? It’s not done in a week. Was he high? Was he hammered? I had a night or two that I’d love to know what my BAC after the beach.

Had their not been a photo of him on a boat with those 4 white dudes, would we even be talking about this??

I have to think the CT is much more likely to ultimately be supported by the "no evidence IS evidence of the coverup/conspiracy" than the independent autopsy giving anything of substance

Go check out the Akin Liverpool case… one with eerie similarities but hardly reported on at all. Why? No race angle to exploit.

If they want to keep their noses clean, I suspect we’ll see something along the lines of “foul play could not be ruled out”.

There will probably be some kind of abrasions or contusions that can't be fully explained and they'll run with that. Because it's like disc bulging where we all have those things if you look hard enough

I thought I read somewhere that the body was found with evidence of wildlife damage. This is something that can be twisted in the media as well.

I agree. Where is the girl and the group she would have been with? Where are the witnesses saying that he wouldn't get in the boat? Where are the people who saw him later, on the island. Who was he with before he disappeared? So many unanswered questions. If people saw him after the boat left, his friends are off the hook. Where are the witnesses? And why make this about race. Who hasn't had to leave someone behind when they decided to go somewhere with someone else? I don't see a crime. But this should have been resolved days ago. Sloppy investigation.

They have talked to the girl. She is from Pascagoula or thereabouts.

I haven't seen anything about who she was with besides Nolan. Her name is Katie McCormack and she is on Fakebook.

Wish the cops would step up their game.

Would you come forward if you were the girl?

I'd say yes if there were a good faith effort to retrace his final steps. But with Crump and Kaep involved, not just no but HELL no.

His black friend Jayvon Williams stated in an interview that Wells chose to stay behind and not get in the boat with the friends in question.

Has this been shared yet? I’m not looking back though all this.

Nolan Wells’ frantic plea during argument with friends before he vanished revealed by family lawyer

quote:

“This video, you can hear an argument going where Nolan is saying, ‘Give me my freaking phone, what are you freaking doing?’” the attorney said.

Personally I think there’s just as many people inappropriately jumping to “this was just a tragic accident” as there are people immediately assuming foul play. There could’ve been a fight and a cover up. I don’t care what color any of these people are. The race talk in the comments on both sides is sad and vicious.

I accept those people may be talking to the police without holding press conferences publicly, but we will see.

There’s some degree of accepting you and I know very little of the reality in the early days of these situations - because you and I don’t matter and aren’t in any variety of need to know position

If it’s the same video talked about earlier I’m pretty sure the person having the disagreement was proven not to be Nolan.

Not officially, but officials have said the cause of death appears to be drowning with no clear evidence of foul play

That leads me to believe this was premeditated. They had to have some kind of plan to drown him without leaving signs.

You think somebody got into a fight with him and killed him on an island with thousands of witnesses around and not a single person has come forward? You think he was murdered in front of hundreds of people and they are all in on the cover up?

AFAIK, we are still in the 'there is absolutely no evidence to actually incriminate any of these teens/classmates' phase -- except his parents and Crump have held press conferences saying: Come on, y'all. This shite looks awfully shady.
