Dumb, dumb, dumb idea. You won’t be hired. Hell, you won’t even get an interview.
Administrators are
1. Effin stupid, and
2. They don’t think.
Administrators don’t care about student performance and academic success. If they did, they would assign the best teachers the best classes, regardless of seniority. They would also seriously address job performance and put teachers on performance improvement plans.

They got to fill the teacher shortages some kind of way. Lay off the white progressive teachers from Minneapolis and they’ll take their degrees and go to those rural districts who struggle to find qualified applicants

It's not only rural areas hurting for teachers it seems. Madison is short around 150 teachers for the coming school year according to the paper.
