If they think current LEO will wait for a year to resign and / or their pension money to be taken away, just more proof of how far out in left field they are. Within a matter of mths, the number of officers out on the streets will drop to the bare minimum. Firemen need a police presence at fires....will they continue to work fires with no protection? A serious accident involving fatalities in the City limits, who will investigate? Lawsuits will overwhelm the city's legal dept, from the police union & homeowners, seeking damages.
