“Globalism” is nothing more than a scheme to level the standard of living for most humans while creating a separate caste for the ruling class. And once it’s done there will be little social mobility between the two. The rich will all be generationally wealthy.
The rest will be the peons. All renting similar shitholes, riding in similar AI driven electric cars, and either not working or doing “content creator” jobs while living off UBI.

Funny to see this post upvoted heavily because I bet some of the ones upvoting it are the same ones calling for union workers wanting that middle class lifestyle to be fired because they are standing up to these massive global multi billion dollar corporations.

Standing up for yourself against the global multi billion dollar corporations is not the same as holding them hostage to force them to pay an unreasonable wage because of your job function in society. They know they can HURT everyone by striking to get what they want. Sorry, but I think its unacceptable to hold anyone hostage. Many people across the country deserve a raise and they cant just stop working and magically get one.
Also, this game they have played will not be forgotten by these multi billion dollar corporations. As soon as they can unload these folks and use AI etc. they will. And, because of how many times they've been held hostage they will move more quickly to get this taken care of so they dont have to deal with it going forward. Its a headache.

These immigrants are also working. A calculation of the cost/benefit of illegal immigration is extremely complicated, and Nobel Prize winning economists have come down on both sides of the issue.
IMO, the real argument against massive Latin American immigration is that we are tipping the voting public towards socialism. That’s the problem. I believe illegal immigration is making the average American richer.

It will lead to population growth when people move here and have kids. Why couldn't you just argue against his notion that it would be beneficial and instead tried to insist it wasnt real population growth
If it is causing more citizens to live here in 2 generations it is definitely population growth
