This is what happens when people try to normalize being fatties. Like SI putting all those fatties on their covers.

I say we need to bring back fatty shaming. Our country's future depends on it.

I mean sitting on your arse and not doing anything for hours a week can lead to less cals being burnt.

I find it fascinating how the fitness/health industry is booming and growing every year, but we continually keep getting fatter

Mass shootings is dumb but if you think sitting on your arse playing video games for hours on end is good for you and doesn't lead to weight gain when done routinely, you're mistaken.

If you eat 1200 calories, you probably won't gain any weight. It's not like people with full-time jobs are gaming that much.

Cuz they eat like shite, don't exercise and complain on social media all day.

Not surprised. I'm technically a millennial, but I'm proud to say I'm in fantastic shape, six pack and all

Look, all I am saying is if Totino's Pizza Roll smoothies weren't meant to be a thing, how come you can perfectly fit 20 of them in a standard blender?

A millennial didn't invent the Pizza Roll or the blender. This is the Boomers' fault.

So you never sit down and watch TV when you get home?

It's interesting. It seems more and more like people either dgaf or are big into fitness/wellness. The group in the middle is getting smaller and smaller.

Of course not but I’d guess the cross over between people who eat 1200 calories and consider video gaming to be one of their top hobby’s is a lot smaller than the amount of overweight gamers.

fast food generation

They're lazy and don't know how to cook so they're always eating greasy fast food.

That's the fault of their diet though. Not the gaming. Plenty of active people relax at night on the couch for a few hours. It's the same damn thing

the average person today knows way more about health, diet, and fitness than the average person 50 years ago

it is sad, but eventually there will be a breaking a point and populations will shift towards the strongest individuals

The average person's job typically involves sitting in front of a screen for hours and hours and hours at a time as well.

very true

but it has been proven time and time again that diet has way more to do with weight than how active you are

exercise = health/body composition

diet = weight/fat %

On a positive note, pedophilia is on the decline. As comedian Bill Burr said, “Kids these days are too fat to frick.”
