i'm talking about normal millennials who frequent breweries and nicer bars. they aren't muling beer over state lines and standing in line for hours for a beer release.

Well we do. It's fairly well known that many millennial hole up in their patents home. I just see this as a parenting failure. My generation did a poor job dealing with transitions between the old ways of socialization and independence to the cyber world when it came to parenting

I'm a millennial, there are a few groups of people still living at home:
a.) Those with a career who are saving up and paying down student loan debt or getting ready to buy a house(for a couple of years)
b.) Blue collar baws who live at home and spend all their money on boats and trucks. These people are living with mom and dad indefinitely, and are a surprisingly large group.
c.) Bums who can't hold down jobs or who are working shitty jobs and using their money to pay probation fees and for entry into Buku and other such music festivals

And none of those are the same as what the Japanese people are described as being. Even if you can't hold down a job, you're at least trying to be a part of society. Or half assed trying.

Not Boomer, not X, not Millennial has ever once stopped spending what they don’t have or demanded government not spend what they don’t have by their votes or what causes them to vote in the first place.
ALL are the exact same, looking for shortcuts, enjoying the ride, and kicking the can to others. I see no difference whatsoever.
And shortcutting to death is the reasoning behind the food condition itself.
