I never used the word qualified.

What he wrote.

You do understand that since you made the accusation, it's up to you defend the accusation, right?

You do understand that people that make statements have to defend their statement. Which he hasn’t. Nor you.

Because it’s wrong.

But continue making this about me. Lol

But you certainly won't hesitate to remind all of us how much harder it was in the past.

Go easy on roger. Things are hard when you value being a degenerate drunk instead of providing for your family.

The topic of the thread and the general beef millenials have with the boomers is there are structural problems faced by millenials that did not exist in prior generations that have caused millenials to have a harder time getting by and ahead in many cases.

Boomers such as yourself love to scream and yell about snowflakes, and life isn't fair, work harder pussy but you fail to see the advantages you had coming up that are no longer present.

Yes, the world is the safest it has ever been and life is generally good but don't bury your head in the sand and ignore the problems that do exist and have a real effect on this generation's lives.

Scruffy fully agrees with this.

The millennial generation, Scruffy’s generation, is weak both mentally and emotionally.

Yeah, you're either illiterate or just no comprehension skills. People were proud of hard work.

Well, to be fair, I over-exaggerated what you were saying, but the intent behind your words was the same. You still stand by your assertion that life was harder in the past, therefore you are more of a victim than people now. But I understand why you didn't get that. I don't hold it against you.

People are still proud of hard work. The fact that you don't see this or understand this only demonstrates your complete unfamiliarity with actual hard work currently.

You don't consider covering healthcare benefits a "fringe" benefit? I consider anything but wages as such. But apparently that's not technically correct.

I am hardly educated on labor history but I do know when it started, and once it did, the problem worsened post WWII because of tax avoidance and it's now a huge issue with subsidized healthcare becuase your wage gains get obsorbed by those premium increases.

Mandatory government spending and money printing to fund it is the root of inflation, and is mostly what people are bitching about in this thread. That inflation is not captured in CPI for a reason.

What advantages did I have that are no longer present?

Almost every millenial I know is doing just fine and is highly successful. The ones that aren't (my methhead cousin being a prime example) are where they are because they're fricking stupid.

He's saying "stay in your lane" because I didn't mention that it was Fed mandated to use other benefits as compensation to prevent massive inflationary pressures on wages during WWII. That would be my guess.

Your guess is wrong.

CAAAPTAIN DIIIIICKRIDER! strikes again.

Once, just once I'd actually like to see you post something of substance. Are you even capable of doing so?

Hell I'll even let you pick the topic.

Is there a list somewhere online of the specific factors of oppression Millennials face?

Didn’t say that.

You said they wanted them. Pensions were not something labor wanted.

Again, you clearly have great Econ knowledge.

I’m not arguing or debating this. Not my lane.

But your statement, about what labor wanted is false. You can’t start 40 years ago, which is what you responded to.

I said both.

Because it is wrong. Do the research.

It’s funny watching you apply standards to me that you don’t apply to him.
