And as far as your first question, have you read the topic of the thread yet?

Yes. Now are you going to answer this?

A master's degree in General Buttfrickery pales in comparison to old-fashioned nepotism and cronyism.

He's saying "stay in your lane" because I didn't mention that it was Fed mandated to use other benefits as compensation to prevent massive inflationary pressures on wages during WWII. That would be my guess.

But you certainly won't hesitate to remind all of us how much harder it was in the past. Methinks thou doth protest too much.

So you're agreeing with the general consensus here that it isn't entirely millenials fault for the situation they are in?

If everyone in the world said that millenials had it rougher than boomers, who the hell cares?

No, I just find it funny juxtaposed with your daily preaching about everyone else's job/living situation.

Sure. Just like it's not entirely boomers fault for the situation they're in if they're struggling. And GenX people that fall under this. And will be the same for GenZ.

Life has never been fair, and never will be. You guys aren't special snowflakes in that regard.

So any appeal to "but what about Becky Sue the Millenial who's struggling to put food on the table for her chirruns" rings rather hollow, especially in light of the fact our society today is the safest and most prosperous in the history of our entire species.

What victimhood?

There is value in hard work, it's a definite benefit.

You'll never be able to comprehend

Okay tough guy. I forgot how unpopular subsidised healthcare is. I wonder why nobody is running for president on a platform of ending entitlements? I wonder why we have presidents wanting to increase the benefits on taxpayer dime.

And now you’ve moved the goalposts.

Fringe benefits are now just healthcare. Lol

You clearly have no background in this area or have knowledge. And that’s ok. You clearly have Econ knowledge.

The part I quoted where you whined about how it was harder in the past. It's rather obvious, isn't it?

From what others are saying about your job situation, I'm entirely confident in saying I work MUCH harder than you do. Feel free to clear that up though if you wish.

Which is?

You dont seem to have much comprehension. I'll pull for a barista if they're happy in their lifestyle.

Yeah, you're either illiterate or just no comprehension skills.

People were proud of hard work.

Here's where your argument runs off the rails. More prosperous for who? A smaller and smaller amount of people. That's the issue. It's kind of a different discussion involving the dreaded "inequality," but it is what it is.
