So the vast number of college professors chose poorly in indoctrinating us that hold degrees?

The humanities are dead. They have been for at least 20 years now.
I don't know about 20 years, but certainly for a bit. And i do think the degree is still really valuable, but it's MUCH more dependent on the person earning to understand it and make it worthwhile.
I wouldn't give mine up for a STEM degree. And I was in one before Literature. I had a fine GPA, but hated the type of work.

PHDS who want to teach at the university level are disproportionally underemployed. It's been that way for decades.

They still teach them, but you have to make sure you think the "right" way.

I'm not a college professor. Get over that narrative.
Poor choices are relative, it's the results that matter. Trust me, my results are fine. I don't want to pull the OT thing, but there's a very good chance that my results are better than yours.
I just care about the dialog around this very topic.

A side gig as an adjunct teaching online is nice.
Do I need a specialized master's degree or will my professional degree and experience do it for them?

Depends on it being a Comm College or Technical College.....fluid terms, but Technical Colleges generally won't care, Comm. Colleges will. (Also depends on the state/system/etc.)

Like the poster above said, it depends.
In my case just having a Master's Degree was sufficient, even if it's not in the subject I'm teaching (cybersecurity).
I'm at a fully accredited four year school FWIW.

I'm willing to get an online Master's degree and in military history, if I could be virtually certain of being able to teach that subject. I'm open to teaching broader history survey courses as well or even conflict specific courses.
I was just wondering if 10 years experience teaching at an accredited, Master's program would carry any weight with them with just my J.D.

I really do love teaching. The long term job prospects and ultimate pay tiers weren't there for me, but I do teach from time to time and will probably do so for as long as I can.

Considering a JD is a post-graduate degree I would think so, although again it all depends on the institution.

Roger certainly has ZERO idea about what someone in business development in software sales can make. I’m on the development, however I’ve seen many of those licensing guys pull in over $500K/yr.

You are outstandingly wrong on this issue and have always been.
I am more than comfortable financially and I imagine most Millennials actually on this site are way above the median and work their asses off.
That doesn't mean we don't recognize that there are systemic economic issues, including the enormous transfer of wealth away from Millennials and towards Boomers (it is perhaps the greatest net transfer of wealth in the history of the world, or second from the Greatest to Boomers), that are creating the conditions that you see today.
If you think it's all some soft cultural thing, then that is frankly silly shite. Open your goddamn eyes. If you really believe in markets like you say you do, then you'd re-assess your tired schtick on this topic.
