When Athletic Brewing Co. offered its nonalcoholic limited-edition Double Hop IPA for sale online last week, it sold out in 32 seconds.
"We've actually been totally overwhelmed and shocked by how strong the nationwide online demand is," says Bill Shufelt, co-founder of Athletic Brewing Co., which produces only nonalcoholic brews.

The brewery releases its limited batch brews in small quantities, 50 to 100 cases at a time, and it has been expanding quickly. "We recently doubled our capacity and footprint," Shufelt says of the Connecticut-based company, which also sells its brews on tap and in cans at about 25 breweries and many bars and restaurants in the Northeast. It also distributes to over 2,000 stores nationwide.
Two years ago, when Shufelt and his co-founder, John Walker, were getting Athletic Brewing Co. off the ground, Shufelt says, his goal was to "give people a cool way to moderate [their drinking] ... and to provide people who are sober comfort in being sober," by giving them more options when they're out socializing.

honestly...is it harming you in any way if someone wants to buy or drink nonalcoholic beer?

Well this makes me ashamed of my fellow millennials.
Beer should have alcohol

It does hurt, i dont want to have to start respecting zima drinkers.
You can tell which generation doesnt have enough pain in their life, by the amount of alcohol in their preferred drinks.

I see nothing wrong with this. Alcohol is addicting & terrible for your body.

So people are drinking beer for the taste of it?
Posted on 6/20/19 at 12:58 pm to Jim Rockford
I’ve switched to non alcoholic beer. I don’t like hangovers and not being in control of my inhibitions. These options still give you that relaxed feeling and inclusion in social functions.

Did they make like one serving for it to sell out in 32 seconds?

I sell non-psychedelic shrooms in panic lots for the same reasons

Beer doesn’t taste good. You drink it to get drunk.

Heineken 0.0 was my first N/A beer and it is actually enjoyable to drink. Perfect for weekday nights until weekend nights when I can put back a cube of Natty Lights.

Yes that phrase is annoying, but not nearly as annoying as the goddamn *clapping* *hands* while speaking and clapping each time a syllable is enunciated. They do it because they are entitled little snowflake bitches who think they are exempt from getting their teeth knocked out (which they so richly deserve).
It's so infantile, but millennials are doing it into their 30's.
