Jeez the video is crazy. I though the pilot may have tried to save it by landing on the highway. That's not at all the case, they had zero control of that thing.

Reminds me of that crash in Afghanistan. Dove right into the ground after the initial takeoff

That’s what I thought too, especially since the tail appeared to be intact. That highway is usually pretty busy too, especially at that time of day with lunch breaks

That video is difficult to watch. Wow

I cannot imagine the pilots thoughts as he was staring at the ground. Had to be an absolutely horrendous feeling.
If 3 of the 5 on board managed to survive a crash like that...I don't know a better word to describe it than miracle.

Didn't that crash happen because the cargo was loaded incorrectly?

reporter said it's similar to the last crash in July of '17.
Crazy man, my cousin flys in one out of San Antonio.

Yeah I think so. Something broke and the whole load slammed into the back of the plane.

You remember when we found NannerHammock based on his fricking picture of his broken window by a golfer?
Google Maps is the creepy part.
I imagine that shook the earth that close.
Everyone on the ground okay?

Yeah I remember that
Dude, it was loud. We thought some building exploded or something. We see planes all day and didn't think anything of it.
Yeah, somehow the plane missed everything except the ground.

quote:yes, an improperly secured MRAP broke free during takeoff. That’s over 12 tons moving around in the cargo area.

Going by the video it sure seems like it could have been a loading issue/pallet breaking loose. On takeoff it heads rearward and upsets flight characteristics to screw up climb...A/C pushes yoke forward to compensate, load shifts back to front/side and no more lift....horrible to watch.
Prayers for all the crew and their families.
