That shite was loud as hell.

It was apparently on approach and it did a slight nose dive but the pilot tried to correct. It rolled over somewhat and crashed on Hwy 21.

It's probably from the 165th. They're right here by the airport. They are constantly flying around here.

Prayers for the families of the crew. I lost a childhood friend to a Guard MAFFS C-130 crash 5 years ago.

It’s an E model. The T model had the bad crash last year in MS and has been grounded ever since.

Judging by the tail section being intact it may have struggled to gain altitude after takeoff and came back down hard.

ETA: remember when they had vipers and “selective” membership, they had trouble getting anyone to fly with or against them, I’m sure things are different now
