Who in the world cares this much about this guy?
Right?
I would much rather hear more about a sick frick like Bruce Jenner than a respectable person like Mike Rowe.

I've been working college jobs the pas 4 years. Most of the people I've worked with lack these soft skills. "Soft skills" are a very real thing. They are very easy to use. It's amazing to me that some people don't have them, because it's honestly just basic decency and respect to me. But most I've worked with don't have the those skills. And those are the ones that jump around from one minimum wage job to another for the rest of their lives
Oh and those people I'm talking about are white for the most part

I loved Dirty Jobs. Dude has the intellect to Boom people and they don't even know it. Kuddos to him and his foundation. I've heard him promote this on a radio show (I think it was Cowherd
) seems to have a genuine passion for helping people.

Everyday on the news, liberal pundits and politicians portray the wealthy as greedy, while conservative pundits and politicians portray the poor as lazy. Democrats have become so good at denouncing greed, Republicans now defend it. And Republicans are so good at condemning laziness, Democrats are now denying it even exists. It's a never ending dance that gets more contorted by the day.
THIS. Why do people let politicians and the media control them? They prey on the uneducated

I don't disagree with a thing he said. Right or left, hat he said is true.

I enjoyed the show and I agree, even in BR/Ascension people have "now hiring" signs but so many people either refuse to do the job, or can't do the job well it becomes a revolving door.

To everyone saying how much they miss Dirty Jobs, you know he has basically the same show on CNN now right? Somebody's Gotta Do it?

Mike is dead on. People want jobs, they don't want to work.
