That's all I did, you're the one that chose to characterize it as "belittling." Try to keep up.

I have a friend whose kid is at San Pedro HS and it can be kind of rough from what I understand.
Try to live in a nice area of Long Beach or in Palos Verdes. They would be a lot better all around. San Pedro is probably the trashiest town in the South Bay. The only thing good about it would be it's not too far to some nice beaches and it's close to Torrance and Long Beach for dining and shopping.

What's you perceive as fact is not factual. You're a grown man trying to hold up an argument against a 17 year old and really not progressing anywhere.
Your intelligence level compared to mine at the same age is probably laughable

Also San Pedro is a really blue collar town because the docks are right there. Also on the main roads the businesses are crappy from what I've seen. Bars on the windows, etc.
There are a few neighborhoods in San Pedro that are ok but I'd still look to Torrance or Long Beach or Palos Verdes to live and go to school.

Good luck in Cali. I'd suggest you focus more on growing thicker skin and less on intelligence. You'll find with maturity that these things don't have to be mutually exclusive.

San Pedro is actually part of the city of LA. It's small but has several neighborhoods and varies from poor to fairly wealthy. It has quite a few popular locally popular bars and restaurant on Gaffey and side streets. I think you underestimate it a bit. It's too far out is the biggest problem.

So basically there are good parts and bad parts? Is it structured like NOLA where ghettos are stacked on top of the good areas?

I know that San Pedro is a town in LA county. I live kind of close to it and quite close to you if you live in Inglewood.
I know several people that live in or around San Pedro and like I said, I would rather live in Torrance, Long Beach or Palos Verdes.

Kinda but it's really small. It's on the Palos Verdes peninsula. As with many places in LA the farther up the hill you go the more expensive it is. There's no beach so no expensive beach homes that I'm aware of. Also there's some places farther north on western that are decent but close to harbor city which isn't that great.

Fair enough. But it's a neighborhood in the city of LA not a town in LA county.

California has gained more jobs over the past 12 months than Texas has, btw.

Check out the sportfishing landings. Right now they're catching Bluefin and Yellowfin Tuna only an hour outside the harbor.

your insecurity is showing.
I like San Pedro. Lived there for years. It has some rough parts but if you're between above Gaffey and around Western there are some really nice parts, too.

And if you are a senior in high school, getting ready to move to California why is the Future Bleak? Get a more upbeat name. You are too young for that.
