I really don’t think a 9/11 type attack unites us nowadays. Everyone would just blame Trump and say he did it to win the election. It would further divide us.

Barely reported on China/India border skirmishes which overshadowed the Paki/India skirmishes at the same time, not a peep on Taliban reasserting in Afghanistan, barely a peep about 3 ISIS camps getting assploded in West Irag near Syria, nothing on Iran (still chanting Death to America but when called on it the old, well not death death, excuse), getting Egypt saber rattling about heading into Syria, and there's still the Yemen/SA mess.
But yeah, yawn inducing silence.
