In a well functioning market (and the vast majority of large American metro area real estate markets are), things like property taxes and insurance are economically embedded in rent. Renters are indirectly paying it.
Yea but they are not the legally bound tax payers. You can almost say something similar for income taxes paid and other expenses by any business based on income from products or services sold to consumers as part of the money received from consumers is going to be used to indirectly pay business’s tax bill. Consumer would not be on the hook legally to have to pay whatever taxes business owes from taxable income earned from sale to the consumer nor can they claim the amount as taxes paid by them. Money earned by people or business which help pay their various taxes through the year creates a lot of indirect tax payers if one wants to play that game.
The renter is also not on the hook legally for property taxes. Owner has to pay regardless of whether renter is up to date on rent, the rent covers increased taxes accessed during tax year, and for entire year regardless of occupancy or if profit made (at least individual owners as some business in places can try & get taxed on income instead of assessed property value).
I stick with direct approach and just use the term tax payer for person or entity who is sent the tax bill by govt, who directly pays the taxes, and who will be held responsible by same govt if taxes are not paid.

I am anything but a Blue Jay, or Blue Jay fan. Kids went to their rival on Elysian Fields. Screw this for forcing me to side with Jesuit
Besides when youre a student at Brother Martin dealing with sports against Jesuit, how does this hate(i guess) extend past that?
I had plenty of friends at Jesuit while I was at Brother Martin. I find it odd that as an adult, let alone with kids, that someone that went to BM wouldnt want Jesuit to succeed.
Oh yea I forgot, its Nola high school weirdo shite.

It would have been funny if that bum had tried this when Fr. Harry was still in charge.

Xavier’s a catholic school also.
Not only is Xavier a Catholic school, it's a Jesuit school too. (St Francis Xavier was a Jesuit missionary to Asia.)

If taxes go up so will rent.

sounds like something a renter would say
Actually no.
And to be honest most "homeowners" I know either
1) mooched off mommy and daddy while saving.
2) got government grant through HUD etc to buy house.
3) had direct help from mommy and daddy.
Being a "homeowner" is not some big accomplishment. For some ppl it makes sense. Others not. Getting tied to a home in early 20s would have been a huge mistake for me.
And when taxes go up. Rent goes up. My dad has a rental. And you better believe taxes are a component of what is charged.

They care only because they want to be contrarians to Jesuit or the church.
This seems to be the case after reading. Also they want to throw out some virtue signaling by calling out how "privileged" Jesuit people are.

It would be hilarious if they tried to put a private walk way to get from Mid City Pizza to Banks St bar.

You hit it on the head.
They don’t like catholic school that “rich kids” attend.
As an graduate in 13’, I can attest to there being kids from wealthy families. There were also kids who came from poorer families. Some even lived in a halfway house part of the week. A halfway house that was owned by the school.
Jesuit is also cheaper than most all other catholic schools in the city. Save maybe one (st aug? I can’t remember).

Incorrect. Xavier University was founded and staffed by now St. Katherine Drexel and her Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament who still direct their ministry to Blacks and American Indians. She founded Xavier Prep. in 1915 and the university in 1925.

Immediately even if still under lease?
Does this include months already paid? We don’t find our final tax bill until fall usually. 2018 wasn’t completely set until November 2018 rollback election. Do renters who started in January go back and pay the extra amount for 10 months? Does govt send them a bill?

That’s not the way it works. Your daddy is either lying to you, or y’all are both idiots
The rental market doesn’t give a flying frick about increasing taxes or insurance
Price per square foot isn’t fluctuated or increased by property taxes or insurance rates.
Neither is the price of my home or my investment property
