Are babies going to stop being born? How do you get a baby home from the hospital without a car seat?

I would still put the item in my cart and try to buy it. What's the worst that could happen?

So.... you’re of the mindset that a seat isn’t a piece of furniture?

Go look in the furniture section of any store and tell me how many car seats you find.

Dumbass store managers thought it was furniture or just didn’t understand the order and assumed the governor thought car seats are non-essential and shouldn’t be sold.

Again, I never said the order was a good idea. But to say that the governor banned the purchase of car seats is asinine.

So you’re saying the governor DIDNT ban the sale of “non essential items” such as seeds and car seats?

I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure you can still buy these things in Michigan. You just have to purchase online and/or arrange for curbside pickup.

That isn’t what I asked.

Car seats are furniture.

That doesn’t mean dumbass store managers thought it was furniture and assumed the governor thought car seat sales should be banned.

Car seats ARE furniture, and as such, are banned under the governors orders.

She banned the sale of furniture. Car seats are a piece of furniture. Just as every other chair or seat. Just as baby cribs are furniture.

It’s okay. You can defend it to the death. Doesn’t change the fact that car seats are furniture and therefore banned.

Now, bend over and kiss my feet.

People are already at the store. Why does it matter what they buy? Why does she get to decide what someone buys at Walmart? I hope people keep posting pictures like this and cause an outrage.

Under a Leftist regime, your tax dollars are essential to funding their welfare programs and salaries/kickbacks. They have an incentive in making sure you only buy what they deem necessary.

Think of this as practice :)

He did. He’s just of the sound mind that car seats don’t count as furniture because they’re in the baby section and not the furniture section.

I guess baby cribs aren’t furniture either since they’re also in the baby section. Hell, high chairs aren’t furniture either.

Lol. No they’re not. They’re safety equipment for your vehicle. Per the EO, you can still purchase safety equipment:

From Michigan.gov

quote:

By April 13, 2020, refrain from the advertising or promotion of goods that are not groceries, medical supplies, or items that are necessary to maintain the safety, sanitation, and basic operation of residences.

Plus, you can still buy all the stuff that falls outside of this EO. You just can’t roll into the store and buy it off the shelf. You can still purchase it online and have it brought to you curbside.

This thread is full of sky screaming.

hospitals don’t even let you discharge without showing them your car seat. But there’s online shopping still.

And if you actually read the order you’d know that it provides exceptions for safety equipment.

Car seats are still furniture

It doesn’t matter. If they banned the sale of guns except for shotguns, saying that shotguns are banned would be false as well.
