Car seats are seats. Seats are furniture. They can be both furniture AND safety equipment.

And helmets are hats, right? You think people need to stop buying those?

Do you honestly believe that EO was written to keep people from purchasing car seats? You’re being obtuse in order to win an internet argument.

Tell that to the stores now.

If they don’t want to buy them?

Not at all. I think it’s a retarded EO that was wayyyy to broad, hence why you see pics like this. There should be no ban, period.

This just means we can go back to the good old days of walking around in the back seat and beating our siblings with the metal seatbelts while mom and dad are smoking a cig and/or drinking a beer. Great job, governor! MAGA

Doesn’t matter what you think. It specifically gave exceptions to items to maintain safety.

Telling people to section off sections of stores or for specific products was going to cause problems no matter how broad or specific it was.

Like going to your second home out on a bunch of land in the middle of no where instead of being in the city?

What happens to a family who gives birth during this time? They have to have a car seat to drive the kid home

I’d guess they order one online with two day delivery if this policy is truly enacted across the state and not just Walmart painting with a broad brush in order to keep areas of the store empty and avoiding reorganizing where things are placed

So since there’s an exemption for “safety” equipment, I should be able to leave my city home and go out to my country home, right? After all, it is in the name of safety.

Or is that still banned?
