Was the stabber a veterinarian? Vets are the only ones licensed to give rabies shots so no ordinary random person would have a rabies shot around their place. Nice story, though.

Kept rabies shots on hand when I was breeding dogs, kept all sorts of shot for cattle for my small ranch in OK. Bought in bulk from Farm & Fleet/Co-op etc.. Never occurred to me that was less than a normal thing.
However, the 85 Toyota Corolla crossmember bit was golden!
