What happened?

I don't know if he's dead yet but he got diagnosed with MS and after his original handle was banned, he came back several times with alters, but eventually stopped. After back to back NC's and no new alters from him, I am just assuming the worst.

The majority of everything beginning in south Palm County and going down to the keys is pretty much ghetto

You’ve obviously never been to Palm Beach County. Boca Raton is the southernmost city in PBC and it (along with the unincorporated areas of West Boca) are far from ghetto. Delray Beach has a few sketchy areas but by and large is nowhere near ghetto.

I seem to remember almost daily threads and/or viral videos coming out of Miami a couple spring break seasons ago

Fights on the beach. Fights in the street. Ratchet shite happening in restaurants. Etc

Yeah, they had to enact a curfew in the middle of it then too. They were climbing on cars, blocking traffic, fights, etc.
A couple weeks later the wife (no pics) and I stopped for the day in South Beach on the way home from a Keys trip and black spring break was still in effect. The majority did not appear to be students. Was very sketchy. Dudes out walking around just looking to start trouble. We got the heck out. Couldn't imagine it at night. Been to South Beach several other times in the past few years and never felt that unsafe.

Grown folks shouldn’t be told they can’t go into a city they pay for after a certain time. Punishing the law abidings isn’t the answer

I remember in the 90s we tried to book a hotel in Panama City. They told us you needed to be 25 or older to book a room. (This was Memorial Day weekend)

That’s how u change the culture on spring break. Change the age to book a room. Sure some will get around it, but most will not and it will not be such a big location and will die off as they look for other locations.

People like this used to stay confined to their hoods. In recent years, they’ve been venturing out all over, and bringing the hood to the rest of society.

Lots of $500,000 and up properties in the ghetto then. Damn

"Ghetto" is a culture and state-of-being, not an economic parameter. Have you seen "Growing Up Hip Hop" or "Grown and Gospel?"

Punishing the law abiding is exactly the point and why not shits done to stop crime. The criminals are leverage.

Miami Beach is incredibly ghetto and has been for a while. It has its glamorous spots, but a huge portion of it is like a waterfront New Orleans.

Wife and I stayed at one of the ocean front hotels just north of ocean drive between Christmas and NYE.

I can promise you that South Beach is not ghetto that time of year. Ran across Jamie Dimon during a run on the boardwalk one morning. Crowd was mostly northern Yankee types, International people etc.
