Nah. Tara has a long history of making decisions like this and standing true to her word.

I need to watch her speech.

She is already home, nitpicking a statement by the AG.

He said he supports the death penalty, by chair, hanging, injection, Firing squad, etc. He meant to just get it done. She wants to nitpick that some of his methods are against the law.

220...221, Whatever it takes.

The standing ovation she received should be the highlight played on the news.

But it'll be Gary.

I believe Tara to have acted on her own. I have to say the hypocrisy was high tonight. I think Trae Welch may have lost a little bit of his soul with that apology.

Nah we would have selected a white republican while making a grand statement about what a moderate he is.

The black politicans in NBR would lose their minds, and still vote for him next fall.

He made a Facebook post blasting the four after they made an announcement. He said he was sorry for posting and if that post hurt anyone.

From chauna:

quote:

Thank you to everyone that came out tonight to support change and equitable opportunities from one end of the city to the other. This was a day of victory, but we must stay close to the plow!

She’s delusional.

Sounds like an Uncle Tom who is ok with slavery. "Stay close to the plow" is so close to "cotton-pickin mind" that racism is the only conclusion. She needs to apologize IMMEDIATELY and pay reparations to those who have been damaged by her hurtful, racist words.

I watched that meeting from when that 11 year old stupid girl spoke til the end...

Tara Wicker might be playing politics, but she's doing it well. There is no to little chance of a Rep victory in BR for 2020 mayor. If Holden does not run again, Wicker has my vote. I am not a racist. I like her. She seems real.

The shite show with Fat Gravy...who needs a haircut and start being a "better G" again because he clearly quit that diet. Must be too busy being unemployed. His stupid self-serving but pathetic diatribe at the end of voting was comical. And all that idiot does is stay on his momma's pre-paid minutes. What voice does he represent? The lazy and entitled it sounds like. Blacks and whites alike can rally around that.

Aunt Sterling or whoever...that you at the end? Your 15 minutes are up. The city is going to move on. You show your class with your stupidty.

Chaunnnnna? You are abysmal and it is sad that you get to have a position on the council. You are a disgrace and a sore loser.

Barb...you are still an idiot but you played your Lord Varys role tonight.

shite show as usual.

Gary is desperate to be relevant again because he’s running out of money. No one out there to blackmail without some racial strife.
