Some of you keep saying this as though it has to do with anything more than them being rich and famous. I'm not going to say they didn't accomplish anything, but in that life, there's a shite ton of luck involved.
To answer the OPs question...drugs, I don't do drugs. When I see that picture, it screams heavy drug use and fried brain cells. That's not always the case, but seems like 99% of the time it is true. I have never heard this dude speak, not even sure if I have heard him sing, but I won't judge a book by it's cover. I'm just saying it looks like lots of drugs were involved. To all the examples of others dressing similarly ridiculous, again, lots of drugs were involved.

Like I said in an earlier post...drugs appear to play a role in dressing like that. Even with that, the comparison to mick jagger isn't rationalizing this as normal for the average person. That's just normalizing it for famous pop/rock stars. OPs question was for men on the OT. No one is outraged by these dudes dressing like this. Everyone seems to think it would be outrageous for themselves to dress like such.

"normal" people aren't paid entertainers though. yes, this would be absurd if some baw wore this to the camp.
