I sometimes do it but i'm in higher end real estate and I have to keep the women folk engaged.

I just put smiley faces! :)

I rarely rarely use one in any context.

Maybe “Happy Birthday!” Or something

Definitely use my exclamation points conservatively and never in business emails. Never!

I have to use them sometimes in order to seem happy. Otherwise, the women I work with will think I'm mad at them.

However, it'll be a cold day in hell before I use emoticons though.

This is an actual email I received from a middle age man. I work for an O/G company and we were selling some left over casing.

It hits the trifecta...exclamation points, all caps and run-on sentences. But his check cleared so whatever...
