I use exclamation marks exclusively in emails with women. Other men don't need to know that I'm super excited about the bundt cakes that were just delivered by a vendor.

I don't mind exclamation points when they are used correctly, and only one. But some of my biggest pet peeves are when grown men overuse exclamation points or use "lol" all the time. Bugs the frick out of me for some reason.

Back in the early 2000's I chewed out a young employee because he punctuated his e-mail with a smiley face. I told him it was unprofessional.
Now every yahoo sends me e-mail's with emoticons and exclamation marks and crap.
