No such thing as "family friendly drag show". If they want to see clowns, take kids to the circus. Adults grooming kids for freakish behavior is a disease that needs to be eradicated.

Why drag queens need an audience of kids is beyond me.

Mmmmm... I think Memphis has bigger fish to fry, kind of like BR and Nola.

We need to put a stop to applauding mental illness.

It’s not just this show, their main exhibit right now is LGBTQ???.
What in the world does that have to do with science and history for children?
If you live in the Memphis area and still support them at all, you are 100% supporting grooming of children

I wanted to see if Memphis's Chief of Police was black, which I assumed they were after seeing this.. Not only are they black, she is a woman.
Generally speaking, black people seem to either be "woke" like SWB or completely against the LGTMBQD community. There is no in between.

Why would it be beyond you as to why they do this?? We all know where this is headed but continue to stick our head in the sand and refuse to protect children.

So if Rock Hudson played the role of Mrs. Doubtfire, it wouldn't be appropriate for children as a children's movie?
Dude, drag queens are supposed to be raunchy and sexualized. Robin Williams is not sexualized in Mrs. Doubtfire. It’s like comparing a woman in a bathing suit with a stripper. False equivalency.
quote:
Is it appropriate for a gay man to play a straight man?
Are you against your children going to see a ballet? Lot of gay men prancing around in those.
quote:
I can guarantee you this: your child has a bigger chance of being molested by his pastor/coach/scout leader/family member that you trust enough to put your child in their hands and they trust enough because that person has worked hard to build that trust between you and them, than they do being molested by the random gay guy wearing a dress at a museum.
Well that’s just false because any drag queen that will flash their junk in front of kids is clearly a pedophile. And there are plenty of drag queens that are getting pissed off and are protesting this pedophilic shite. Like if they walk out and see a kid, they’ll lay into the parents and tell them to keep their fricking kids out of their club since they are not interested in grooming them. These parents and drag queens are making every horrific stereotype about gays come true when that is the vast minority of them.
Here’s a drag kid called Desmond is Amazing. Good Morning America showed off this kid as if he were a ten dollar whore. And here Desmond is with another drag queen where Desmond Demonstrates how to do ketamine on a couch. Reminder he is 11 and already knows not only what ketamine is but also how to do it. I didn’t know what ketamine was until I was 23, and I was decently in the drug scene as well. And I’m supposed to be believe Desmond isn’t getting sexually molested? Desmond will be lucky to make it to the 27 Club. His parents should be in fricking prison.
quote:
Pedophiles try to blend in, not stand out.
This isn’t across the board true. They like leaving little hints around on who they really are just to taunt the parents and the public:
quote:
Your fear of anything different would have driven you to put your child into his hands before even thinking of allowing the guy performing in drag to watch your child.
And your child would have been in danger because of that.
There’s no difference between taking your kid to a strip club and a drag show. For God’s sake don’t have kids.

You're bringing Marxism into this topic?
Okay. We're done.
No, we’re not done. Marxists tell us to stop calling them pedophiles and call them Minor Attracted Persons, or MAPs. So no, they are trying to normalize pedophilia and are for mutilating and sexually grooming kids. This is relevant to the conversation.
quote:
ETA: And you have no idea what a Strawman Argument is.
A point that refutes your point is not a Strawman.
Don't worry though, most people on here don't understand what a Strawman Argument is.
Your argument is 100% straw man. The fact that you’re defending grown men flashing their junk in front of kids is absolutely disgusting. How about you stop and think what path in life led to you defending this type of behavior.
Posted on 9/24/22 at 10:53 am to magildachunks
quote:
I said that because your response to my Mrs. Doubtfire post was "There's a difference between a straight man performing in drag."
If anything, you are the one who presented the Strawman.
Oh frick off. You are the one with a straw man. There’s a big difference between Mrs Doubtfire and Bugs Bunny and this:
quote:
You made a definitive statement about how all drag performances are purely for adults, "period-the-end".
Yes, that is definitively correct as most drag queens would actually agree with me here. It is an adult art form that is innately sexual in nature. You are so fricked in the head if you defend this kind of behavior in front of kids:
quote:
And then you brought Marxism into the argument, which shows how little you understnad the world.
If it's something you don't believe in, then obviously it must be lumped in with everything you don't believe in. Nevermind that every Marxist society has demonised and persecuted the gay community on a scale that may be higher than Theocracies.
Yeah who are the ones who get pissed when you call someone who is a pedophile by the appropriate name they deserve and then insist they call them MAPs instead? It is overwhelmingly Marxists.
quote:
But you wouldn't know that. Because Fox News doesn't tell you that.
Yeah, because the Washington Post and CNN are definitely telling you the truth.

I'm probably in the minority here, but I wouldn't show my young children Mrs. Doubtfire *or* take them to a drag show. Men in women's clothing are objectively off-putting, and I'm not trying to normalize that. There's also the mincing Harvey Feirstein character, and the even larger problem is that this is one of those movies where there's a lot of heavy-handed moralizing that I don't necessarily agree with. All in all, I'd rather show my kids Platoon or Caddyshack... not that those are my first choices, but that's how far down the list anything with a man in a dress is.

If it’s just a joke, who cares? We all grew up watching Bugs fooling Elmer Fudd. Kids know the difference.

I guess I give Looney Tunes a pass for being much funnier than Mrs. Doubtfire, and also a cartoon. The "objectively off-putting" part isnt' really there.

Two things:
Who wouldn’t want their 5 year old going to see a “show” with ANGEL FARTZ!!!?
Also, reading the article - love how the leftist reporter quotes the drag male “Barbie Wire” as “she….” Hey reporter, go “grab her in the pussy” (like Trump supposedly would do). I bet you’ll be surprised!!

Disney also did a drag performance on Disney+ with a drag queen by the name of none other than Agatha Hardness.

Hey, Magilda, do you think this is appropriate? Here’s a “child friendly” drag show where one of the drag queens lets a kid rub his genital area and another lets his slong basically pop up under his panties: Twitter
But this is just the same as Mrs. Doubtfire obviously. I’m sure the guy who lets kids rub his genitals isn’t a pedophile. And by the way, that child friendly drag show also happened in Tennessee except it was in Chattanooga at WanderLinger Brewing, so if you live in Chattanooga do not give these pedophiles your business. Doesn’t seem like people are too happy with them: Twitter
