Just watched.
I have no idea how anyone could be on these cops side in this situation.
Yes, the guy resisted, but he wasn’t a violent criminal and was not a threat to any of those officers or any civilians.
These officers let their own pride and egos lead them to ‘frick a mothafricka up’ because they had to actually do a little work for once.

Does anyone know how long the first cops on the scene were dealing with him before the driver in video 1 pulls up?
Nothing can absolve them of their actions but it might give some more context to why they were so aggressive in the 1st video for a simple traffic stop.
It’s hard to believe they came in that aggressive. I mean, what the hell.

They probably didn't think he would get beat to death so no one would view it. The one guy went the frick off with the baton.
And the street light video was real, real bad.
Do all street lights have cameras now? That was just in the middle of a neighborhood.

He was on the ground almost immediately and could have easily been cuffed right there and then. Instead they started screaming about how they were going to frick him up and had dudes pulling on him in different directions which NO frickING shite made it hard for him to roll onto his stomach.
Again, this was for a TRAFFIC STOP. This wasn't a dangerous high speed chase that caused their adrenaline to go off the charts.
I'd love to see how some of you "HE RESISTED" types would respond to a traffic stop going from pulled over to getting yanked out of your car in mere seconds; being pulled/pushed in different directions by multiple people; being threatened w/a beating and being tasered when you are already on the ground and trying to respond calmly; have them shining lights in your face as they scream at the top of their lungs w/guns drawn.
Damn near every single person here would quickly fall into fight or flight mode like the deceased Nichols or curl up into a ball and piss themselves.

I watched the whole thing. It didn't make me angry, it just made me sad.
Potential rioters have another thing coming if they think they're going to be able to get a repeat of Floyd with a democrat sitting in the WH however.

This definitely seems to be yet another case of “if he complied he’d still be alive.” So when you escalate into that I have trouble feeling bad for your consequences. But that also doesn’t give cops carte blanche for beating you to death either.

This is a really good point.
He was obviously terrified and disoriented. Anybody acting like they'd respond perfectly in that situation is delusional.

I was just thinking this same thing. I have read he resisted arrest and ran. Like you said though, nothing justifies the beatings.
