With the rumors of dirty cops swirling, combined with the fact that they have completely disbanded the entire unit involved with this (disbanded, not suspended, but completely shut down), you'd think they'd want to dispel what has been floated out there.

I still lean towards this unit being dirty and involved in some street gang/drug shite. That doesn't mean I don't want to know what actually lead to the confrontation. The reality is that these aren't traffic cops we are talking about. They don't usually pull people over for driving infractions, especially multiple units. The whole deal looks very sketchy from top to bottom.
